Data Deletion Instructions

These Data Deletion Instructions (the “Instructions”) are established by 就位科技 LLC (Jiuwei Tech LLC,美國 Wyoming 州, the “Company”) in respect of the “Jiuwei” service (the “Service”) that it operates, to explain the methods, procedure, scope and timeframe for a data subject to request deletion of the personal data held by the Company. This page is the “Data Deletion Instructions” URL that the Company has registered with the Meta platform (Facebook / Instagram / Threads).

1. Deletion Methods by Type of Data Subject

Based on a data subject’s relationship with the Service, the Company distinguishes the following three types of data subject and provides a deletion channel for each:

(1) Merchant Account Owner

If the data subject is a Merchant account owner using the Service back-office, they may, after logging in, go to “Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account” to submit a deletion request; the Company will schedule the deletion of their account and related business data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The data subject may also submit a deletion request by email in the manner set out in Section 2 of these Instructions.

(2) A Merchant’s Customer

If the data subject is a Customer of a particular Merchant (for example, someone who booked via LINE or filled out a registration form), they may request deletion in the following ways:

  • Contact that Merchant directly and ask it to delete their Customer data in the back-office; or
  • Email support@jiuwei.app, stating the name of the Merchant they interacted with and their LINE / social display name, and the Company will assist in processing the request.

(3) Users Who Interacted with a Merchant via Facebook / Instagram / Threads

If the data subject has commented or sent a direct message under a Facebook Page or Instagram account connected to the Service, and wishes to delete the related message records processed by the Company on the Merchant’s behalf, they may remove that Merchant’s authorization to the Service in “Settings → Business Integrations / Apps and Websites” on Facebook / Instagram, and submit a deletion request to the Company by email in the manner set out in Section 2 of these Instructions.

2. Procedure for an Email Deletion Request

  1. Send an email to support@jiuwei.app, with “Data Deletion” as the subject line.
  2. In the body, provide information sufficient to identify the data subject, for example: the email address used, the name of the Merchant interacted with, or the LINE / Facebook / Instagram display name.
  3. After receiving the request, the Company will verify the data subject’s identity, complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once completed.

3. Scope of Deletion

After identity verification and completion of the deletion, the Company will remove the following personal data relating to the data subject:

  • Account and personal identification data (name, email, phone, LINE / social identifiers).
  • Conversation content in AI customer service and the unified inbox (LINE / Instagram / Facebook / Threads / web).
  • The original responses submitted in forms, questionnaires and consent forms.
  • Personalized data such as customer notes and tags.

4. Data That Must Be Retained by Law

Certain transaction and invoice records must be retained for 5 years in accordance with tax law and related regulations. Such records will be processed in a de-identified manner during the retention period, used solely to fulfill legal obligations, and deleted after the retention period expires.

5. Processing Timeframe

The Company will complete the deletion within 30 days after identity verification, and will notify the data subject of the outcome by email.
