Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) is established by 就位科技 LLC (Jiuwei Tech LLC,美國 Wyoming 州, the “Company”) in respect of the “Jiuwei” service (the “Service”) that it operates, to explain the categories, purposes, duration and management of the cookies and related technologies used by the Service. This Policy forms part of the Company’s Privacy Policy; any matters not addressed here are governed by the Privacy Policy.
1. Definition of Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on a user’s device while browsing, used to record the user’s preferences and usage state so that the Service functions properly and the user experience is improved.
2. Categories of Cookies Used by the Service
(1) Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Service to function properly and are not disabled by user choice:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
auth_token | JWT login-state verification (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax) | 7 days |
(2) Functional Cookies
These cookies remember a user’s preferences (such as time zone) in order to provide a service better tailored to their needs:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tz_pref | User time-zone preference | 30 days |
(3) First-Party Visitor Analytics (Cookieless)
The Company does not use third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics, nor does it perform cross-site advertising tracking. The Company uses only its own self-built first-party visitor analytics to understand anonymous, aggregate traffic (for example, pages viewed, referral source and device width). This analytics has the following characteristics:
- It uses the browser’s
sessionStorage(jw_sid) to temporarily hold an anonymous session code, which disappears when the tab is closed; this is local temporary storage and is not a cookie, and it is not sent to the server with every request. - It respects the browser’s “Do Not Track” setting; when a user has enabled that setting, nothing is sent at all.
- It does not collect personally identifiable data such as names or email addresses.
3. Managing Cookies
A user may refuse or delete cookies through their browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may prevent certain features of the Service from functioning properly. The management paths for common browsers are as follows:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When a user uses certain features of the Service, the following third-party services may set their own cookies on the user’s device, each subject to its own privacy policy:
- Stripe, ECPay and LINE Pay — payment flows and security verification.
- LINE LIFF — LINE app integration.
